Job Zone d’emploi is recruiting to fill a contract position from May to September, for a Job Coach in the Youth Job Connection – Summer (YJC-S) program, who will be responsible for providing employment and support services to youth in the YJC-S program, by assisting in the delivery of the pre-employment component of YJC-S, counseling and providing feedback to youth, maintaining accurate data and up to date recordings in all youth/employer files and in case management systems, advocating and mediating on behalf of youth, providing on the job training and monitoring, completing job site monitors and ensuring that employers meet the terms and conditions of the incentive agreement, monitoring youth placements throughout the program, etc.
The Job Coach YJC-S will also be responsible for providing support in the agency’s Resource and Information Centre by answering telephone inquiries, assisting clients with job search activities, referring to agency programs and services, providing support and direction re; the use of available resources, i.e. career and employment preparation and job search materials, etc.
